How long does a session of cat care last?

A visit takes about 30 minutes. During this time, all the tasks discussed (see ‘Services & Prices’) are completed and updates sent.

How much will cat care cost me?

There are two models:

1 visit per day for €16
2 visits per day for €30

From the 3rd pet onwards, there is a surcharge for additional pets. You can find a detailed overview of all costs in the price list.

Do I have to pay for the drive to my home?

If you live within a distance of 5 kilometres from me (Fasanenstraße, 81247 Munich), the journey is free of charge.
If you live outside this distance, I charge a flat rate of +€0.35 per additional kilometres of travel time each way.
Additionally, I don’t go further than 15 kilometres in one direction.

Areas for cat sitting / cat care

My primary focus areas for mobile cat and small animal care in Munich are Pasing, Obermenzing, Moosach, Allach, Untermenzing, Aubing, Lochhausen, Langwied and Laim. I tend to concentrate on the west of Munich. In exceptional cases, I sometimes travel further afield, but not during holiday periods. There is also a small flat rate for travelling further away. Just ask me if you are unsure.

My animal has special needs, are these taken into account?

Of course! Please let me know exactly what special needs your animal has before you start the booking. Normally I can take over these from you without further ado. You can find more about this under ‘Services & Prices’.

Do you also look after animals at your home?

Unfortunately, no, I do not take in any animals into my home.

I would like to have 24-hour care.

Unfortunately, I cannot offer 24-hour care or overnight stays! Visits more than twice a day are also not possible.

What happens if the cat sitter is ill?

Minor illnesses do not prevent me from coming to your furball. If I know before the start of the booking that I will be unable to attend due to illness, I will contact you by WhatsApp or telephone and we will discuss the details. In an emergency, I know a few other lovely pet sitters who would be happy to fill in if necessary.
However, you should always have an emergency contact who also has access to your premises!

I can’t go out of town, but I’ve already booked. What do I do?

For cancellations up to 5 days in advance, I will refund the full amount paid. For cancellations at short notice (not agreed upon) 30 % of the total amount must be paid. For more detailed information, see the terms and conditions.

Can I receive a gift voucher?

Yes, I will gladly hand out a voucher with your desired amount. The voucher can also be used as a gift. Just contact me for more information.

Which animals are looked after?

The animal care is primarily aimed at cats. However, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs or small birds can also be looked after on request. However, as I have a hay allergy, mucking out hay is out of the question. I do not take care of dogs or exotic animals!

Can you look after my rabbits despite their hay allergy?

Basically yes. My allergy is not so bad that I have to avoid hay directly. However, I do get itchy skin and a runny nose/watery eyes on direct contact. It is therefore possible for me to look after rabbits, but I would refrain from mucking out the enclosure.

Can I deduct cat care from my taxes?

Under certain conditions, you can deduct cat care at your home from your taxable income. However, this is only possible if you pay the cat sitter by bank transfer! For detailed information, please ask your tax advisor.
